Cleaners are the one who tidy your place of residence or your workstation-as instructed. They are responsible for all the basic cleaning and restocking requirements in and around the facility or office building. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Cleaning living or working areas, bathrooms, kitchens and supply closets by dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping
  • Cleaning supplies and toiletries need to be timely refilled, restocked and maintained
  • Kitchen napkins, floor rags and dusters need to be watched regularly
  • Throwing out garbage daily
  • Perform maintenance tasks for clogged sinks and displaced toilet seats
  • Do monthly disinfection and deep cleaning activities
  • Practical knowledge of office supplies (e.g. fax machines and printers)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Be resourceful and proactive in the time of discrepancies

Educational Qualifications and Experience

  • Certificate of Cleaning Operators Proficiency issued by the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICS)
  • Industry-recognised certification for Cleaners issued by the British Cleaning Certification Award (BCCA)
  • Knowledge of the English language would be desirable
  • Experience in cleaning domestic or industrial buildings
  • Experienced cleaners – minimum one year of experience in their area of expertise
  • Knowledge about suitable cleaners for wood
