Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Child Care Assistants to join our growing team, providing person-centred support to older adults and individuals with varying care needs. This role is ideal for someone who has a genuine passion for helping others live comfortably, safely, and independently — whether in their own homes, residential settings, or within the community.
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting elderly individuals and vulnerable adults to live with dignity, safety, and independence — whether that’s in their own homes, a supported living environment, or a residential care setting.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality, person-centred care that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of each individual. Working as part of a dedicated care team, you’ll receive the training and guidance you need to develop your skills and grow your career in the care sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure the safety of the children at all times
- Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities to foster growth and development
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and hygiene needs
- Manage children’s daily routines, including nap times and school runs (if applicable)
- Maintain cleanliness of children’s areas, including toys and play spaces
- Support early learning through reading, play, and creative activities
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s progress and wellbeing
- Administer basic first aid and medication as authorized
- Help in cooking and household chores.
- Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions
Follow safeguarding and health & safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Nanny or in a similar childcare role
- Clean Enhanced DBS Check (or ability to pass one)
- Reliable, trustworthy, and patient
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility with working hours and tasks
- Relevant childcare qualifications (desirable but not essential)
