Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Child Care Assistants to join our growing team, providing person-centred support to older adults and individuals with varying care needs. This role is ideal for someone who has a genuine passion for helping others live comfortably, safely, and independently — whether in their own homes, residential settings, or within the community.

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting elderly individuals and vulnerable adults to live with dignity, safety, and independence — whether that’s in their own homes, a supported living environment, or a residential care setting.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality, person-centred care that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of each individual. Working as part of a dedicated care team, you’ll receive the training and guidance you need to develop your skills and grow your career in the care sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and ensure the safety of the children at all times
• Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities to foster growth and development
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and hygiene needs
• Manage children’s daily routines, including nap times and school runs (if applicable)
• Maintain cleanliness of children’s areas, including toys and play spaces
• Support early learning through reading, play, and creative activities
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s progress and wellbeing
• Administer basic first aid and medication as authorized
• Help in cooking and household chores.
• Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions

• Follow safeguarding and health & safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Nanny or in a similar childcare role
• Clean Enhanced DBS Check (or ability to pass one)
• Reliable, trustworthy, and patient
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility with working hours and tasks
• Relevant childcare qualifications (desirable but not essential)
