Care Assistant(Live-in)

Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and private homes. Duties

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Provide specialised care for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other cognitive impairments
• Support patients with medication administration following prescribed guidelines
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
• Manage behaviour challenges with patience and effective behaviour management techniques
• Drive clients to appointments or outings safely and responsibly
• Monitor health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any changes in condition
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment

Experience

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or home care is highly desirable
• Knowledge of patient care practices including dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice, and senior care
• Experience with medication administration and basic first aid procedures
• Familiarity with behaviour management strategies for individuals with cognitive impairments
• Childcare experience is considered a plus for roles involving family members or younger clients
• Valid driving licence preferred for transporting clients safely
• Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting when required for mobility assistance or equipment use
