Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team and deliver exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and strong leadership skills to manage kitchen operations efficiently.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef / Head Chef in a restaurant, hotel, or catering service.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification (preferred).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and control food costs effectively.
  • Knowledge of the latest food trends and cooking techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Create innovative menus, improve existing recipes, and ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.

  • Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
  • Manage food and labor costs, optimize inventory, and reduce waste to maintain profitability.
  • Ensure exceptional dining experiences by maintaining high food standards and addressing customer feedback professionally.
  • Enforce hygiene, health, and safety regulations (HACCP, local food laws) through routine inspections and staff training.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Professional Cookery/Culinary.
  • UKVI-IELTS-level B1.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a chef in a restaurant or hotel kitchen.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of Indochinese, South Indian, and Gujarati cuisine.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
